The protection of your data is our concern

We, primion Technology GmbH, appreciate your interest in our company and our products and services, and we want you to feel secure when visiting our website, also with regard to the protection of your personal data. We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. It goes without saying that we comply with the relevant provisions of data protection law, in particular the German Federal Data Protection Act and the German Telemedia Act. With our data protection declaration, we would like to explain to you in the following which personal data we collect from you when you use our Internet offer and how we process this data.

1. Collection, processing and use of personal data

a) What are personal data

Personal data are details which are assigned to a person and which enable this person to be identified. This includes, for example, information such as name, address, telephone number and e-mail address. Information that cannot be associated with a specific person or can only be associated with a disproportionately high effort is not included here.

b) Collection, processing and use of your personal data

The collection of personal data on our site (for example, name, address or e-mail addresses) is, as far as possible, always on a voluntary basis. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent.

A collection, processing and use of your personal data takes place when using our contact form and our newsletter.

aa) Contact form

If you use the contact form to send us inquiries, request information or make appointments, the information you provide in the inquiry form, including the contact data you enter there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions.

bb) Job market

In connection with an application or job request, you may provide us with information about yourself, such as a resume. This information may be used within primion Technology GmbH, a subsidiary and affiliated companies to evaluate your application.

2. Information about your computer, cookies

a) Server log files

When you visit our Internet pages, information is collected and stored in so-called server log files for system-related reasons, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • browser type/browser version

  • Operating system used

  • referrer URL

  • Host name of the accessing computer

  • Time of the server request

This data cannot be assigned to specific persons. This data is not merged with other data sources. We reserve the right to check this data retrospectively if we become aware of specific indications of unlawful use.

b) Cookies

Some of the Internet pages use so-called cookies. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our offer more user-friendly, more effective and safer. Cookies are data records that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.

Most of the cookies we use are so-called "session cookies". They are automatically deleted after the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your terminal device until you delete them. These cookies allow us to recognize your browser on your next visit.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser.

Among other things, tools from companies based in the USA are integrated on the Internet pages (e.g. ClickDimensions - see below for more companies and information). If these tools are active, personal data (e.g. your IP address) may be passed on to US servers of the respective companies, which is associated with corresponding risks, e.g. data access for control and monitoring purposes by US authorities. With your consent, you also agree to the processing of your data in the USA.

c) Career site analytics (Recruitee)

The goal of Recruitee's ( career site analytics is to track career site usage in a privacy-friendly approach without tracking individual users.

The goal is to track general trends in site traffic, not individual visitors. Recruitee does not use cookies, generate persistent identifiers, or collect or store any personal or identifiable information. All data is aggregate data only and does not contain any personal information.

To collect the data, Recruitee uses its own solution based on the open source version of Plausible. Learn more about Plausible's privacy-friendly approach and their data policy.

3. Data security

We take appropriate technical security measures to protect the data entrusted to us from loss, destruction, disclosure and access by unauthorized persons and always adapt these measures to technical developments. However, we point out that data transmission over the Internet (eg communication by e-mail) security gaps.

4. Links to Internet pages of third parties

We link to websites of other providers not affiliated with us (third parties). We point out that we have no influence on what data may be collected and processed by these providers when you click on these links. Since the collection and processing of data by third parties is beyond our control, we cannot accept any responsibility for this. For more information on the collection and processing of your data by these third parties, please refer to the privacy policy of the respective provider.

5. Consent, right of revocation and right of objection

Insofar as we use your personal data for a purpose that requires your consent in accordance with the statutory provisions, we will always ask for your express consent and record your consent in accordance with the data protection regulations. You can revoke your consent once given at any time with effect for the future. A simple message to us is sufficient to revoke your consent. 6. Information, modification and deletion of your data

You have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, their origin and recipient and the purpose of data processing, as well as a right to correct, block or delete this data. 7. Changes to this privacy policy

We will revise our guidelines for the protection of your personal data from time to time in order to adapt them to the state of the art or to changes in general conditions. We therefore recommend that you regularly inform yourself about changes on this page.
