Service Technician (m/f/d) - Converged Security and Workforce Management

  • Hybrid
    • Neu-Isenburg, Frankfurt am Main, Germany

Job description

Protect what matters.

Primion Technology is a global solution provider and market leader in Converged Security Solutions and Workforce Management. For more than 30 years, we have supported around 4,000 satisfied customers worldwide who rely on our certified solutions every day. From consulting and planning to development, installation, maintenance, and support, a team of over 470 dedicated experts works passionately to meet the highest standards.

You want to do more than just install devices? Instead, you wish to ensure that individual devices come together to form a fully functional system?

As a Service Technician (m/f/d) at Primion, you will install modern, integrated security and time-tracking systems and then bring them to life digitally. From hardware installation, configuration, and network connectivity, you’ll see the project through to successful commissioning. In doing so, you’ll combine the best of both worlds: hands-on technical work and challenging system configuration.

You will also enjoy extensive freedom in your service role: start your day right from home, be free to make private use of your company car, fill up on gas anywhere in Europe with your company card, and get paid for every minute you’re on the road. With our flexible flex-time policy, you can work whenever it really makes sense.

Sounds interesting? Then join our team and apply today for the region around [location], based on a 40-hour workweek with a salary range of approximately 45,000–55,000 euros gross per year + company car as a Service Technician (m/f/d) – Converged Security and Workforce Management!

Key Responsibilities

  • At our customers’ sites, you’ll check Primion hardware that has already been installed (e.g., time-and-attendance terminals, ID card readers, and digital lock cylinders) for functionality, quality, and proper installation.

  • You will identify and correct installation errors and ensure that all components work together optimally.

  • You will configure the hardware components digitally on your laptop.

  • After a successful inspection, you will independently commission access control, time-and-attendance, and security systems.

  • In some cases, you will install hardware components yourself and integrate them into the existing IT and network infrastructure.

  • You conduct acceptance tests and oversee the handover of the systems to the customer.

  • You take on a coordinating role at the construction site and coordinate with project management, subcontractors, and the customer.

  • You create detailed technical documentation of the installed systems - which you’re welcome to do flexibly from home.

  • When necessary, you will analyze malfunctions and replace defective hardware components.

  • Occasionally, you will visit our branch office for project coordination and team meetings.

Key Qualifications

  • Completed technical training, e.g., as an electronics technician (m/f/d) specializing in information and telecommunications technology or as an IT systems electronics technician (m/f/d). Further training to become a state-certified technician (m/f/d) or master technician (m/f/d) is desirable

  • Hardware and software knowledge in the field of networking, as well as general digital literacy
