Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for monitoring, configuring and repairing complex software and hardware systems, particularly for access control and time and attendance.
On a regular basis, you carry out structured inspections and maintenance of the systems.
For malfunctions that might occur and cannot be solved remotely by the 1st Level Support team, you analyze the problem on-site, and find solutions to rectify them.
You will install the associated hardware and program the systems; you will then instruct customers on how they work.
As a trusted technical expert on our solutions, you lend your support to your colleagues in the Sales department.
You will work conscientiously in accordance with the guidelines and documents applicable to the area of activity and prepare revision documents.
You will carry out smaller hardware projects for our existing customers according to specifications, from assembly and commissioning to integrating the devices into the software.
You will be on standby duty, including on-call duty to rectify system errors.
Job requirements
Qualifications
Completed technical training, e.g. as an electronics technician (m/f/d) specializing in information and telecommunications technology or energy and building technology, as an IT systems electronics technician (m/f/d) or as an IT specialist (m/f/d) for system integration, ideally with further training as a state-certified technician (m/f/d) in computer science or electrical engineering
Ideally, professional experience as a service technician (m/f/d) in the field or in the analysis and elimination of both software and hardware faults
Good software and hardware knowledge in the network area and in Microsoft operating systems
Class B or 3 driving license
Business fluent German and English language skills
Friendly, professional manner when engaging with customers as well as strong communication skills when interacting with individuals from diverse professional backgrounds
High level of conscientiousness, willingness to learn and a good grasp of complex technical issues
