We seek a skilled and experienced Software Solutions Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance, and secure software solutions.

Role Overview

As Lead Solution Architect (m/f/d) you have the unique opportunity to usher in a new era of scalable security solutions. Together with a top-class team and the full support of the C-level, you will develop a platform that sets new standards. Your expertise in innovative technologies such as cloud architectures, microservices and DevOps is needed to change the IoT/OT security landscape sustainably. You are our new Tech Lead and guide our technical projects to success with your solution orientation, communication skills and "can-do" attitude.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of software solutions, as well as the integration into and modernization of current solutions, ensuring they meet business and technical needs.
Define and maintain architecture standards and best practices for scalable and maintainable systems, ensuring architectural solutions are secure, compliant, and able to scale with business growth.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship while collaborating with development teams to design, review, and implement system architecture, as well as working closely with DevOps to ensure proper deployment pipelines and infrastructure management.
Conduct architectural reviews of software solutions and provide recommendations for improvement.
Identify, document, and mitigate architectural risks.
Evaluate new technologies and tools, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Contribute to the strategic vision for the organization’s technology roadmap.

Job requirements

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in informatics, computer science or a related field; a Master's degree is an advantage
Several years of professional experience in an architecture role as well as in technical leadership and mentoring of teams
Expert knowledge in the design of scalable and resilient systems; this includes knowledge of event-driven architectures, microservices and technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, Kubernetes and REST/Async APIs
Experience with common development methods: DevSecOps, CI/CD, TDD
Proficiency in one or more object-oriented programming languages (e.g. Java, Spring Boot Framework)
Know-how in the areas of cloud, DevOps and security
