Your Responsibilities
End-to-end project controlling
You support projects across the entire group – including international projects – throughout the full project lifecycle, from project approval and execution to final project closure.
You ensure budget compliance, monitoring costs, revenues, cash flows and provisions, and identifying deviations at an early stage.
You are responsible for preparing, maintaining and tracking project budgets, forecasts and profitability analyses.
Steering & transparency
You prepare regular project and management reports (actual-vs-plan analyses, contribution margins, forecasts) and derive clear recommendations for action.
You work closely with project managers, sales and project operations, acting as a commercial business partner.
Profitability & optimisation
You actively contribute to the identification of cost-saving potentials and efficiency improvements in ongoing and future projects.
You analyse project structures, processes and cost trends and drive the further development of project controlling across the group.
Governance & closing
You review project-related quotations, orders and purchase requisitions with regard to commercial accuracy and compliance.
You ensure adherence to controlling, risk and compliance guidelines.
You support monthly, quarterly and annual closings as well as internal and external audits with a project focus.
Job requirements
Key Qualifications
Degree in business administration, finance or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in project controlling, ideally in a project-driven or international environment
Strong understanding of project lifecycles, budget management and profitability analysis
Experience in identifying and realising cost-saving and optimisation potentials
Solid knowledge of accounting and financial reporting
Excellent command of MS Excel, Power BI or similar BI tools
Business fluent English language skills, both written and spoken, are mandatory
Fluent written and spoken German language skills are nice-to-have
Analytical, structured working style and strong communication skills when working with international stakeholders
