Your Responsibilities
Automation & DevOps – You will provide support in the following areas:
Provisioning & deployment: Collaboration in the implementation and optimisation of automated provisioning and deployment processes for our integration software (northbound/southbound).
Tooling: Application and expansion of tools such as Docker and Ansible for the automated configuration of test environments.
Infrastructure setup: Supporting the installation, maintenance and documentation of host software as well as the setup of physical and virtual test environments.
CI/CD processes: Gaining insight into existing CI/CD pipelines and actively participating in their further development.
Software test automation – You will be involved in:
Test development: Creating and maintaining automated test cases, especially in the area of end-to-end testing.
Frameworks: Working with modern test frameworks such as Playwright or comparable tools.
Test execution: Preparation, execution and evaluation of tests in complex hardware/software integration scenarios.
Documentation & process improvement
Collaboration on runbooks, technical manuals and e-learning courses – especially in the area of hardware connectivity (southbound integrations).
Support in the continuous improvement of our development and testing processes.
Job requirements
Key Qualifications
Studies: Currently studying (business) information technology, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable technical degree program.
Test automation: Initial experience in software development or test automation (e.g., with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar tools).
DevOps interest: Basic knowledge or initial experience with Docker, Linux, scripting, or provisioning tools.
Technical understanding: Interest in cyber-physical systems, embedded systems, or IoT technologies.
Working style: Curiosity, structured approach to work, sense of responsibility, and motivation to familiarize yourself with new topics.
