As a Senior Solution Manager – Workforce Optimization & Compliance (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the strategic and functional development of our workforce management solutions. You will design future‑proof, compliant, and efficient solutions for workforce planning, shift optimization, and personnel cost control, ensuring their seamless integration into HR, ERP, and access control systems. You will act as the domain owner for Workforce within our solution stack and serve as the central interface between Product Management, R&D, Legal, Sales, and our customers.

Your Responsibilities

  • Strategic Responsibility

    • Further development of our workforce management portfolio

    • Definition of target architectures and solution components

    • Development of SaaS and vertical solution concepts

  • Compliance & Regulation

    • Ensuring compliance with working time laws (DE/EU), collective agreements, and industry- or KRITIS-specific requirements

    • Continuous monitoring, analysis, and evaluation of relevant legal/regulatory changes, as well as initiating and supporting the implementation of required adjustments or new features in our workforce management solutions

    • Definition of functional requirements for R&D

    • Support for audit and compliance requirements

  • Workforce Optimization

    • Development of efficient shift and deployment models

    • Analysis and optimization of personnel costs

    • Definition of relevant KPIs and analytics concepts

    • Support in simulations and scenario modeling

  • Integration & System Architecture

    • Collaborate with Engineering in designing interfaces to HR, ERP, time and attendance, and access control systems

    • Clarify requirements for data structures and information exchanges between systems with Engineering, to support the definition of APIs and data models

  • Presales & Customer Consulting

    • Support with complex tenders

    • Conducting workshops with key accounts

    • Creation of business cases and value arguments

Job requirements

Key Qualifications

  • Professional Qualifications

    • Degree in Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a comparable field

    • Several years of experience (at least 5–8 years) in the areas of workforce management, HR IT systems, time & attendance, or operations management

  • Professional Competencies

    • In‑depth knowledge of working time regulations (Germany + ideally EU)

    • Experience with collective agreement logic and company agreements

    • Strong understanding of HR and ERP systems

    • Experience with integration architectures (APIs, data models)

    • Strong analytical skills

    • Experience in KPI definition and efficiency analysis

    • Very good English and German skills, both written and spoken

  • Ideally, you also bring experience with

    • SAP HCM / SuccessFactors

    • Workday

    • ATOSS

    • UKG / Kronos
